Day Zero ehf employs three specialists, with additional services provided by individual contractors. Furthermore, European coverage for larger projects can be provided through the EuDRAcon network of consultants.

Ýmir Vésteinsson - CEO/ QPPV
M.Sc. Pharm.
The founder and owner of Day Zero ehf, Ýmir has worked in Regulatory Affairs, CMC and Pharmacovigilance from 2002. A pharmacist by training, his career in this field started in 2001, following 4 years of working as a community pharmacist, as a regulatory officer at Vistor (then Pharmaco) from 2001-2002, then as a CMC specialist at Actavis from 2002-2009, Director of Regulatory Affairs at Portfarma from 2009-2013 and as Director and QPPV of Day Zero from 2013 to date.

Victoria Frances Taylor - Regulatory Affairs Manager
Victoria has worked in all areas of Regulatory Affairs since 2002 with skills in project management and leadership. Victoria started her career in the Regulatory Affairs Department at Actavis Group PTC ehf. and as Department Manager was responsible for creating EU registration strategy and overseeing all EU regulatory submissions, timelines and life cycle management of products developed by Actavis for own brand and and supporting 3rd party clients for Medis ehf.

Guðrún Finnborg Guðmundsdóttir - CMC/ Deputy QPPV
M.Sc. Pharm.
Guðrún, a pharmacist by training has 10 years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs. After graduation, Guðrún worked as a community pharmacist and then as a research scientist at the Pharmacy Department at the University of Iceland. In 2001, Guðrún started working in the Registration Department at Actavis Group PTC ehf. as a CMC specialist. Her responsibilities included writing the quality parts of the dossier for new developments, auditing dossiers for in-licensing and also providing support for both internal department and external clients during registration procedures. Guðrún later developed her skills further in the chemical aspects of the registration dossier working with the procurement department in reviewing and selecting 3rd party API suppliers for development projects within Actavis Group.
